How to Connect Bluetooth Headphones to Roku Device

Well, to connect your wireless headphones to your TV, you can use the Roku app on any Roku streaming device or smart TV. It lets you enjoy movies at total volume without annoyance to anyone else in the vicinity. Here’s how to use your Roku device’s Bluetooth Headphones and what to do if private listening doesn’t function for some reason.

Connect Bluetooth Headphones to Roku Using the App

At first, open the Roku app on your mobile device or tablet and connect your Bluetooth headphones. Next, select your Roku device from the Roku app’s Devices section. Finally, tap the headphones icon on your remote to enable private listening.

Note: Only some Roku devices, such as the Roku Express, Roku Express+, Roku Streaming Stick, Roku Streaming Stick+, Roku Ultra, and Roku TV, have access to private listening through the Roku app.

1. Open the Roku app on your tablet or smartphone. If you do not have the app, you can download it free from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store.

2. Pair your Roku Bluetooth headphones with your smartphone or tablet.

3. Now, click Devices in the Roku app. You’ll see this in the bottom-right corner of your screen.

4. Then, choose your Roku device at tap Remote.

5. Finally, click the headphones icon.

When you successfully connect your headphones to your Roku device, you’ll see a headphones for Roku icon appear in the upper-right corner of your TV.

Note: It’s essential to ensure that your smartphone and Roku device are on the same WiFi network if you can’t connect headphones to either device. Go to Settings > Network > About on your remote to see your Roku’s WiFi network.

Go to Settings > Network > Set Up Connection, then follow the on-screen steps to modify your Roku’s WiFi network.

How to Connect Bluetooth Headphones to Roku TV Using the Roku Remote

Roku TV Bluetooth headphones: If your remote includes a 3.5mm headphone jack, you can also attach your wired headphones to it. On the other side of the remote’s volume buttons, you’ll find this. Plugging in a pair of headphones switches the TV’s audio to private listening mode right away.

Verify that your Roku ultra Bluetooth  headphones are connected to your remote properly if you notice popping or stuttering.

What to Do if Roku Private Listening Not Working

If you’re having trouble with audio synchronization or Private Listening on your Roku device, give it a few seconds to fix itself. Then, close and reopen the app, turn off and on private listening, or stop and resume listening.
